Description
I waited for this group of Elk to present themselves as they walked towards me on a steep slope in Banff. This is the moment the young bull busted me after taking a previous shot. It's amazing how loud a shutter click can seem sometimes. Antlers down, he scared me for a moment but was confident enough not to bother with me. I wanted to get Mount Rundle in the back as it towers over Banff at just under 10000 feet. The sun is just coming up behind the bull and it was a very brisk minus 20. Great morning to be in nature.
